It is formulated with a high concentration of proanthocyanidins (PACs) that prevent bacteria that come down from the gut (such as Escherichia coli) from adhering to the urinary tract or reducing their ability to adhere. With this simple mechanism of action the red ranthan is able to make the infective process by bacteria more difficult, in the long run, in patients prone to recurrent urine infections, will reduce the frequency with which they are suffered, thus reducing the amount of antibiotics and antibiotic resistances.
COMPRIMIDCistitus Forte is the combination of American Cranberry, Sage officinalis L. and vitamin C. Salvia officinalis L. extract (Ursolia®) is rich in ursolic acid and Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
Take 2 tablets a day for 10 days (next to the antibiotic). Preferably 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening. When finished in a pack, it is advisable to continue taking Cystitus® tablets or liquid for a minimum of one month. Not suitable for people taking blood thinners.
